Create a series of small pen and ink drawings featuring animals of all kinds. Explore line, textures and values using different ink techniques to create the look of fur, wrinkles, scales and other characteristics. You can also choose to add a bit of colour to some of your drawings. Since our primary focus of the class will be the medium of pen and ink, students are welcome to trace on the initial image if they prefer. Instruction will include demonstrations as well as individual guidance. Reference photos will be provided by the instructor.
