Do you ever walk into a room in your home and want to run right back out again? Our homes represent who we are and sometimes there is a disconnect between the person we have become and our environment. Updating a space can range from simple cosmetic improvements to major renovations, but either way the fundamentals are the same. In this class you will learn how to be your own designer by understanding the basic processes that professionals use. We will begin by discussing personal style, assessing a room, and exploring design principles. You will learn how to choose the right colours for your space, the right furniture for your room, and the right materials for your floors and wall finishes. You will gather inspiration and develop a personal plan to create a cohesive look that reflects your personality and lifestyle.
