Join us to learn more about how to manage the common but difficult emotions (like depression, anxiety, anger, grief, etc.) that sometimes create seemingly insurmountable challenges and isolation for those who experience them. Participants will create their own emotional regulation toolbox based on a wide variety of fundamental coping strategies and mindfulness techniques that will be shared in each class. This course includes skills for emotional problem solving; crisis management; the development of increased tolerance and resiliency, and the ongoing management of feelings in a healthy way. While many of the tools being shared are useful for all ages, this course will be specifically focused on the unique ways that people over 50 experience and cope with these challenging feelings.
