Instructor: Frank Haddock
Frank Haddock is a lifelong artist known for his expressive watercolours and versatility across artistic media. A graduate of the University of Alberta with a BFA (1984), Frank also studied art in Philadelphia, deepening his creative vision. For over 40 years, he has balanced a thriving studio practice with a passion for teaching, having taught at Grant MacEwan University and various cultural centres across Alberta. He now runs his own art school, continuing to mentor aspiring artists. Frank’s work has been widely exhibited across Western Canada in cities including Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. His paintings are held in numerous public and private collections, notably the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. A highlight of his career includes exhibiting with the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. His art has been featured in Galleries West, Edmonton Women’s Magazine, Watercolour Artist Magazine (June 2009), and Island Arts Magazine (Fall 2024).
