Dive into a 7-hour journey exploring AI technologies like ChatGPT, CoPilot, and Gemini. Discover how AI is integrated into various applications and learn practical applications to enhance your productivity and creativity. Find out how artificial Intelligence might help you in your everyday life. This online course helps demystify AI and its real-world impact. Although this lecture-based course is computer-based, artificial intelligence apps on mobile devices will also be discussed.

Instructor:  Shawn Gramiak

Shawn Gramiak has taught software skills at MacEwan University for over 25 years. His other clients include ELLA and Northgate and Central Lions Seniors Centres. He has also provided training services to the Provincial Government of Alberta, Metro Continuing Education, Edmonton Public Schools, Enbridge and a host of private tutorial clients. Last, but certainly not least, Shawn has taught computer skills at other seniors’ organizations such as SAGE and SEESA, as well as working with organizations such as the Lobstick Community Learning Society and the Alberta Retired Teachers’ Association. Teaching constantly reminds Shawn of how much more he needs to learn, and that the pursuit of knowledge is a key to happiness. Shawn also enjoys cooking, gardening and is working his way to becoming a small-scale vermicomposting worm rancher.
