This program is designed for adults of all ages and aims to enhance mental and physical well-being through the integration of various meditation techniques into daily life. The series will also focus on supporting participants through the emotional challenges of winter, particularly addressing feelings of loneliness and low mood. It includes sessions on the foundations of mindfulness, cultivating breath awareness, practicing loving kindness, deepening integration and applying practice to life challenges. Each session includes time for Q&A, as well as optional sharing of traditional stories. Weekly PDF handouts will be provided with summaries, instructions, and reflection prompts. By the end of this program, participants will acquire foundational meditation techniques for daily practice; learn how to manage stress, anxiety, tension, and loneliness; develop deeper self-awareness and a sense of inner peace; and understand the nature of the mind and how to cultivate happiness through mindfulness.
