ELLA Virtual Learning Spring Session

To access information for Members: (for Class Handouts)
Click on the Logon prompt on the left-hand side of the page……. DO NOT USE Log In (on upper right corner of page.)
You will see the Account Information page. Click on “click here to go to the Eventbrite website.”
In the email box enter the email that you use to access ELLA (the one in our database/the one you use to renew your membership.)
Click “get started” and enter your password and click Log In.
This will take you to a page that require Eventbrite Authorization. Click Allow.
This will take you back to the main page and your name will be on the left side of the page.
You are now signed into our website as a member and can access class notes.
Under the Spring Session tab at the top click Virtual Learning Spring Session.
Class Handouts are highlighted below in Red. Click the link https://my-ella.com/spring-session-handouts/ Then click on the notes you are interested in.

Registration information is coming Friday April 10!

As noted in the April 6, 2020 email from the ELLA Office, the Board is pleased to provide more details around the Virtual Learning Spring Session program. This is a pilot program using Zoom technology being offered April 27 – May 15.

Due to the quick turnaround we have had some changes since Monday’s announcement:

  • down to ten (from 12) courses, but still including options in arts, humanities, fine arts and science
  • art courses are now 1-hour in length, along with all the other courses
  • course fees will be $50.00/3-week course (including art classes) and $25.00/1-week course
  • as noted previously, class registration will be limited to 24 participants, with 20 participants for art classes.

Registration involves a 2-step process of registration and payment. You will receive an email on Friday, April 10 with a registration form. More details will be provided then, but the basic procedures are:

  • open and fill in the form
  • return the form to the ELLA office by email
  • wait for a confirmation email of the course(s) you are registered in and the total cost
  • send an e-transfer for the full amount to ELLA by a date noted in the confirmation, generally two days later.
