Join Lynnda for a series of evening yoga classes as a gift to your mind, body and soul. You could envision it as an opportunity to form the habit of freeing yourself from the day’s tensions. We shall practice gentle postures and movement with mindful breathing that will bring warmth and fluid to the joints. Such a process facilitates an awareness and awakening of the body’s tissues that support the bones. As we focus, relax and engage our strength, we can increase our balance, both physical and emotional, which will help us move through our lives with more ease. Following the stretching and strengthening, each session will end with a short relaxation. All in all, it will be a time to be in touch with the richness of who we are, while maintaining our bodies movable and strong, and facilitating a calming atmosphere for our nervous systems to settle down before bed.

Instructor:

Lynnda Sharp has been a student of yoga for the last 20 years and is a Certified Senior Instructor with the Yoga Association of Alberta.  She has taught yoga since 2007 for the City of Edmonton, YMCA, Alberta Health Services, seniors lodges and private individuals. Lynnda enjoys ongoing classes with her teachers.  Her passion is to help herself and others to undo tensions and create space for increased physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
