Are you sitting on stories or hunting that one elusive grand story idea you know is waiting inside you? Discover the four things every writer needs to find those ideas, start them, and reach the finish line. Rusti L. Lehay believes someone is waiting for your stories. Once you write them, do you edit as you go, or do you “finish” and then edit? Is it possible to self-edit? Learn to trust the first draft by sharing in-class, prompt-generated text in the first five sessions. In the next six sessions, learn six real-time techniques for self-editing your content and your peers. In the remaining four sessions, evaluate which of the three publishing routes is best suited for your content. Write agent-winning query letters or start the tasks to self-publish. All registrants will receive Rusti’s 11-page resource which compares three publishing options and includes information on how to find interested agents, and other applicable resources.

Rusti L Lehay, a global editor, book and writing coach, has created over 60 guides for authors. Rusti’s clients generate consistent content and many become published authors. Her writers retain artistic control while learning self-editing techniques. Under Rusti’s empathic, heart-centred approach, authors and novice writers build confidence to independently craft and tweak writing projects. All writers have a unique voice to connect with their audience – the real boss, not the author or the editor. Rusti seeks to inspire, while making writing fun and easy. She has conducted many online writing events for new and seasoned writers. Her book, Letters to Women Everywhere: Seven Cautionary Tales, is due out in the spring of 2024.
