Wow mid January already and what fantastic weather it's felt like Spring, but we are about to get a cold blast and what better way to enjoy being indoors than with ELLA. All registered classes and noon-hour presentations use Zoom technology.

All ELLA members with a current 2021 membership can access the Friday noon-hour presentations for free.  Check out the list of topics as the Zoom presentations started January 8.  Renew your membership and then login to your ELLA account to access the Zoom call link.

We also urge you to click on the link provided, https://zoom.us/test . That will get the Zoom software downloaded to your computer (best) or tablet. That won't take long. Then you can join the test meeting to make sure the software is working properly.

We have had some of our classes already start but there are still a number of fantastic ones to choose from Starting February 1. Please note that course registrations close 2 days prior to the start of a course. Here are some of the courses still available: Frankenstein and Beyond; the fiction of Mary Shelly• Introduction to Meditation Practices• Marvels of Mathematics• How the Earth Works• Abstract Painting• The Coming of WW1 in Eastern Europe• Composing Paintings on the Computer for Visual Artists• Learn to Play Again: An Intro to Improv.

More detailed information on the course dates, days and times can be found under ‘Read More’ on the course description page. We hope that you register for one or more Winter Session courses.

Once you have downloaded the software you can set up a Zoom meeting with anyone whose email address you know. When they get the invitation they will just download the software, as you have done, and you are in business! Might be a fun way to practice before your course(s) start.

We look forward to you joining us on ZOOM
